Augusta Man Asks Boss’s Teen Daughter for Sex

-

An Augusta man who was accused of seeking sexual favors from his boss’s 14-year-old daughter has been arrested by Columbia County authorities.

Stephen Andrew Forbes, 35, of Ashland Drive, Augusta, has been charged with “obscene electronic contact with a child,” according to a sheriff’ report. The victim is from Grovetown.

The suspect’s boss told authorities that his daughter approached him last month and said Forbes had sent her a Facebook message seeking oral sex from her, a report says.

The father asked his daughter if anything else had happened at the lake May 15 when the father left his employee in charge of his teenage daughter and younger son during a day of boating and camping.

The daughter claims Forbes followed her when she went to take a shower and then asked her to take a shower with him. When she complained about being hot at the campsite, Forbes responded, “Take off your clothes then.”

The girl also claims Forbes asked her to smoke marijuana with him.

“Several lewd comments were made by Stephen and she declined and ignored all of them due to Stephen being one of (her father’s) employees and not wanting to get him in trouble,” a sheriff’s report says. “Once she began receiving messages requesting oral sex, she decided to notify (her father) of what was happening.”

A warrant was issued for Forbes’ arrest and he was arrested June 3.
