Augusta Man Charged with Sexual Exploitation of His Daughter

An Augusta man is behind bars on allegations he took naked pictures of his 8-year-old daughter and other children, The Jail Report has learned.

William Conner Jackson Jr., 44, of Neptune Road, Augusta, was charged with sexual exploitation of children and is being held without bond.

The 8-year-old girl told her mother a week ago that her father had done some “bad things to her” between March and July, according to a sheriff’s report. The girl said her dad “had her take her clothes off and took three pictures of her naked.”

The children’s biological parents have been divorced for five years and the father has custody of his 8-year-old daughter and 12-year-old son. The incident allegedly took place at his home on Neptune Drive, according to the sheriff’s report.

The 12-year-old boy told his mother that he was browsing through his computer that he has at the suspect’s residence and found two pictures of naked children and four more of children in their underwear, a report says. The identities of the other children were unclear.

Deputies told the children’s mother to also contact police in Charleston, S.C., where other crimes allegedly occurred there with the children while the suspect was living there and had full custody of the children. A sheriff’s report suggests the children’s biological parents are divorced.

DFCS has been notified of the alleged exploitation.
