Augusta Man Found Shot to Death in Car; No Suspects Announced

An Augusta man was found shot to death in a vehicle around lunchtime Wednesday, authorities said.

TrimbleCarl Trimble, 45, was pronounced dead at 12:20 p.m. Wednesday at the scene on the 2200 block of Sullivan Road, authorities said.

No arrests have been announced.

Deputies were called about gunfire in the area at 11:46 a.m. Wednesday and arrived to find Trimble inside a vehicle dead from a gunshot wound.

Trimble lived on the same street where he was found. He was already being remembered on Facebook:
