Augusta Teen is Wanted for Shooting Man in Head

Richmond County authorities are looking for 17-year-old Sedrick Williams in Wednesday’s shooting of a man on Morning Drive.

The victim, 24-year-old Darius Montreal Parks, was reportedly shot in the head and was rushed to GRU Hospital, where his condition is not available this morning.

Williams was identified as the shooter and should be considered armed and dangerous, sheriff’s Sgt. Monica Belser said in a press release. He is facing charges of aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
