Cops: Missing Augusta Girl Could be with Wanted Child Molester!

UPDATE: 12:15 p.m. Thursday: A Burke County Deputy on pro-active patrol at 11 am Thursday observed the motorcycle and verified the tag number of convicted sex offender 41-year-old Fritz Lamar Wedgeworth at a camper on the 4000 Block of River Road. Additional units responded and the suspect was taken into custody without incident. 15-year-old Areanna Nicole Guy missing from Augusta, Georgia was in the trailer and is safe with the BCSO at this time.

“BCSO is on scene at this time with Road Patrol, Crime Suppression and CID.  BCSO Narcotics Investigators, and Richmond County Investigators are en-route to the scene.  The missing juvenile is doing well and has declined any need for medical assistance.” Stated Chief Deputy Lewis Blanchard from the scene.

2Richmond County authorities are searching for a missing 15-year-old girl who could be in the company of wanted child molester Fritz Wedgeworth Jr.

Arianna Guy, 15, was last seen Wednesday afternoon at Butler High School wearing a teal T-shirt, blue jeans, brown shoes, a black hoodie jacket around her waist and a black Nike book bag.

She is 5’4″ tall and 110 pounds with blond hair and blue eyes.
The girl may be in the company of Wedgeworth, who is 41 years old, 5’8″ tall and 195 pounds with tattoos on his neck and above his right eyebrow.
