The teenage daughter of Metro Spirit Publisher Joe White has been killed in an accident believed to be caused by drunk driving, The Jail Report has learned.
Jordon Elizabeth White, 19 (pictured here), of Springlakes Drive, Martinez, was turning off Ronald Reagan Drive about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday night when a Ford F250 truck came through a red light and struck the driver side door of White’s Honda Accord, according to Columbia County authorities. She was airlifted to the MCG Medical Center and later died.
Two of her friends were in the car and were injured. Corey Davis, 19, of Martinez, and Clinton Guyman, 22, of Grovetown, were both rushed by ambulance to GHSU.
Charges are pending against the driver of that truck, 43-year-old Lucky Wade Jackson Jr., of Buxton Drive in Evans, sheriff’s Capt. Steve Morris said in a press release. Alcohol is suspected as a factor, and a blood alcohol test was taken from Jackson, he said. Jackson sustained only minor injuries.

In a perfect world the ******* drunk driver would die every time….No reason in this day and age that someone should drive drunk…Prayers to the family.
