A Grovetown mom had her teenage daughter arrested for stealing her debit card and using it all over Richmond County, according to a sheriff’s report.
Tiffany Land, 19, of Newmantown Road, was charged Thursday with three counts each of credit card fraud and was being held under a $10,500 bond.
The teen’s mother, 51-year-old Sheryl Land, told the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office that bank records show someone had taken her debit card without her permission and used it at several locations since Sept. 29.
Sheryl Land said she suspected her daughter in the theft and fraud and wanted to prosecute her. Both mother and daughter have the same address listed.
