A Martinez man was arrested Monday for making a Facebook threat to go into Walmart and shoot people.
Christopher Carlton, 23, was charged with making terroristic threats & acts. He was arrested Monday and has since been releaed on bond, according to jail records.
An anonymous caller told the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office that they had seen a Facebook tweet that stated Carlton had made threats to “go into Walmart and shoot people,” a report says. The caller gave the name of the writer as Chris Carlton.
In his mugshot, Carlton can be seen with a tattoos of a gun and the phrase “Pure Hate” on his forehead as well as a “bomb” below his right eye.
It was unclear if there was evidence that Carlton intended to carry out the threat.

If he had actually decided to go and shoot up that walmart and your best friend, brother, child, or mother were inside while he did so, you would be singing a different tune. I wish some people would think before typing.

Your absolutely right sir…this is one of those cases where correlation does not equal causation. I’m surprised they didn’t point out the pistol though, since that was what he was threatening to do..shoot up a place.
