New Mug: Columbia Co. Murder Suspect Arrives from Fla.

-

Here is your first look at murder suspect Daniel Robinson after his transfer to Columbia County from Florida.

He was brought back Friday from Jacksonville to face charges in last month’s shooting death of Bill Davitte and the shooting of his wife Jenny in the parking lot of Marvin United Methodist Church in Martinez. The victims were at the church to turn on the sprinkler system.

Robinson, 21, allegedly robbed the couple of their vehicle and fled to his home in Jacksonville, where authorities captured him after a chase.

This week, Duval County dropped the Florida charges against Robinson so he could be transferred to Georgia.

The repeat offender is charged with murder, aggravated assault, weapon possession, weapon possession by a convicted felon and hijacking of a motor vehicle.

(NOTE: Robinson’s new mugshot was taken while the Columbia County Jail’s computer system and server were experiencing problems, making the alleged killer look purple and green.)
