Here’s your first look at the pot-smoking Augusta brothers linked to a series of armed robberies over the last two months.
Late Friday morning, Richmond County Investigators arrested Kelvin Thomas (left) and Calvin Thomas Jr., both of the 3600 block of Quail Hollow Drive. They are charged in connection with a series of armed robberies that occurred on Sept. 19, Oct. 1, Oct. 7 and Oct. 20.
In each of the incidents, the victims were followed from a Walmart after cashing checks, sheriff’s Lt. Blaise Dresser said. In each incident, the suspect vehicle was a black Dodge Caravan.
The Thomas brothers have been booked into the Richmond County Jail for four counts of armed robbery. At the time of their arrest, multiple marijuana plants were also found at their residence. Calvin Thomas was also charged with felony manufacture of marijuana.
