Richmond County authorities now confirm that Narcotics Inv. Michael Dodaro Jr. was arrested and charged with DUI at 4 a.m. Friday.
“Inv. Dodaro was found to have been driving a county-issued vehicle at the time of his arrest. The vehicle sustained damage (two flat tires) during the incident,” sheriff’s spokesman Lt. Calvin Chew said in a press release. “Inv. Dodaro has been placed on suspension pending the outcome of an Internal Investigation.”
Inv. Dodaro has been with the Sheriff’s Office since February 2003, Lt. Chew said.
The officer’s arrest, first broken by The Austin Rhodes Show, apparently followed an incident at The Joker and Waffle House.
