The owners of Three Dollar Lounge (3DL) on Gordon Highway in Augusta have been taken into custody on federal charges related to an alleged cocaine trafficking operation, The Jail Report has learned.
Wednesday’s arrest of 3DL owners Latron Ware (left) and Abdul Mack (right) followed the search of their Augusta lounge as well as their individual homes in Richmond and Columbia counties.
We’re told they were scheduled for a 2:30 p.m. initial appearance in U.S. District today. In addition, the federal investigation will reportedly delve into whether the owners used the 3DL business to launder money from the alleged drug operation, which could lead to the seizure of the business.
The owners reportedly have other businesses that operate out of Atlanta.
Abdul Mack, 39, and Ware, 35, have each been charged federally with (1) conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute controlled substances and (2) possession with intent to distribute controlled substances.
