Warrenville Man Arrested on Child Pornography Charges

Martin Duncan SrA registered sex offender from Warrenville was arrested this week after an investigation into child pornography, authorities said.

Martin Duncan Sr., 62, was charged Monday with 12 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor. Last year, an Aiken County investigators discovered images deemed to be child pornography shared over the Internet, according to a sheriff’s report. The investigation led to Duncan’s arrest this week.

Investigators state that Duncan was involved in distributing child pornography. Specific charges:

  • 2 counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, Second Degree (§16-15-405), a felony offense punishable by up to 10 years imprisonment on each count
  • 10 counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, Third Degree (§16-15-410), a felony offense punishable by up to ten (10) years imprisonment on each count.
Duncan record These cases are usually prosecuted by the Attorney General’s Office. The Aiken County Sheriff’s Office, a member of the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, made the arrest.
He’s a registered sex offender convicted in North Carolina in 1993 of taking indecent liberties with a child.

Duncan remained Thursday in the Aiken County Detention Center without bond.
