2 Augusta Men Escape Injury as Argument Turns to Gunfire. Now, This Man is Wanted for Questioning.

-

Two men escaped injury after a Saturday night argument on Boy Scout Road turned to gunfire, authorities said.

Authorities are seeking 20-year-old Jalun Hall for questioning in the aggravated assault case. He is described as 5’5″ tall and 145 pounds.

The victims, ages 24 and 22, said they were walking back from the Time Saver store on Boy Scout Road around 5:30 p.m. Saturday. That’s when “a group of black males approached them with firearms” and “one of the subjects shot at them,” a report says.

Both men advised the shooter was wearing a blue jersey and a red hat. The victims ran back to their apartment, but the suspect kept shooting from the woodline in front of their residence.

Deputies found damage on two residences.
