5 Augusta Stores Busted for Selling Beer to Minors

Five Augusta stores were busted for selling alcohol to minors after authorities conducted a weekend undercover operation.

Richmond County Sheriff’s Office tested 15 stores with a third of them selling to an undercover deputy, according to a press release. Ten followed the law.

The stores who failed the test and had charges against the employee include:

  • Savin Haven, 4474 Mike Padgett Hwy (Tonya Dupree) charged with one misdemeanor citation of Furnishing Alcohol to a Minor.
  • Food Mart 2177 Broad St King (Falguniben Patel) Charged with one misdemeanor citation of Furnishing Alcohol to a Minor.
  • Central Mart 2061 Central Ave (Soni Alpesh) Charged with one misdemeanor citation of Furnishing Alcohol to a Minor.
  • JAHO Mart 1770 Kissingbower Rd (Sheera Patel) Charged with one misdemeanor citation of Furnishing Alcohol to a Minor.
  • D&M Market 1959 Kissingbower Rd (Dante Chhom) Charged with one misdemeanor citation of Furnishing Alcohol to a Minor.

These establishments are still open for business, the press release said.
