An Aiken County man has been arrested after child porn videos were found on his Samsung cell phone, according to authorities.
Shawn Anthony Morris, 31, of Bowill Road, Wagener, was charged with five counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, third degree.
Aiken County investigators got information from the S.C. Attorney General’s Office in reference to child pornography. Last week, authorities obtained Morris’ Samsung phone and found several files on his phone. They showed girls as young as 6 years old engaged in sexual abuse.
An arrest warrant says Morris “possessed material that contained a visual representation of a minor either engaging in sexual activity or appearing in a state of sexually explicit nudity.” One file showed “two females approximately 9-11 years of age engaged in sexual abuse,” the warrant says.
Sexual exploitation of a minor in the third degree is a felony offense punishable by up to 10 years imprisonment on each count. Morris has no other previous criminal charges in Aiken County.
