-

An Aiken man was killed Sunday afternoon on Iris Lane, according to authorities.

Dexter Sullivan, 26, lived on the street where he was killed. Authorities have not released many details on what led up to the shooting. Coroner Darryl Ables said those details are still under investigation by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office.

The coroner said his office was called out to the 500 block of Iris Lane in Aiken around 1:47 p.m. Sunday, and Sullivan was declared dead on the scene from a gunshot wound. He will be autopsied on Wednesday in Newberry.

Here is Iris Lane, which is identified online as Old Wagener Road Mobile Home Estates.
