John Andrew Sitler, 17, was arguing with a 16-year-old, when the younger teen tried to get in his truck and leave, Sitler grabbed his arm and tried to pull him out, damaging the truck’s door and ripping the victim’s hunting jacket, an Aiken Department of Public Safety report said.

The victim said he and Sitler were arguing and he got into his truck to avoid a physical fight. Sitler said he wanted to talk to the other teen “man to man” but denied pulling him out of the truck. He even said he had a video of the altercation, but then said he had deleted it, the report said.

John Stiler, 17, of Aiken, Assault and battery, malicious injury to property Sitler, of the 1000 block of Woodland Drive, Aiken, was arrested and charged with assault and battery 3rd degree and malicious injury to real property, the report said.
