Aiken Probation Agent Arranged Sex with Offenders Who He Supervised, SLED Says

Agents of the S.C. Law Enforcement Division on Wednesday arrested a former agent with the S.C. Department of Probation, Parole and Pardon Services in connection with having improper sexual relations with offenders he supervised.

George W. Yeldell, 29, was charged with Misconduct in Office, according to a press release.

SLED investigated the case at the request of the S.C. Department of Probation, Parole and Pardon Services.

Yeldell was booked at the Aiken County Detention Center. The case will be prosecuted by the S.C. Attorney General‘s Office.
