Aiken Robber is Sought for Targeting People at ATMs

The Aiken Department of Public Safety is requesting assistance in identifying the individual in the attached photos.

Aiken Department Public Safety officers have responded to the SRP Federal Credit Union at 1060 Silver Bluff Road for multiple armed robberies to individuals while using the ATM. The most recent robbery occurred on Sunday evening, April 26, 2020, at 9:00pm. The suspect is described as a black male with an average build.

Anyone with information related to the identity of the individual involved is asked to contact CrimeStoppers of the Midlands at 888-CRIME-SC (888-274-6372). Individuals will remain anonymous and could be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1000.
