An Aiken woman has been arrested for committing a sex crime on a 14-year-old boy and sending him nude photos of herself, authorities said.
Murray Craig Frank, a 34-year-old mother of four, is accused of kissing the boy on the lips and neck and putting his hands on her breast in May, according to warrants from SLED. She also allegedly sent him naked photos to his cell phone showing her breasts and vagina, a warrant says.
SLED became involved at the request of the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office, who was avoiding a conflict since Murray previously worked for the agency as a dispatcher.
The teenager told his mother what happened, and the victim repeated the details of Murray’s sexual advances in a forensic interview with the State Law Enforcement Division. The victim is connected to Frank through family relation, authorities said.
On Thursday, Murray was booked into the jail on charges of criminal sexual conduct with a minor in the third degree and disseminating harmful material to a minor. She has since been released on bond.
The case will be prosecuted by the 2nd Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
