Arrest Made in Arbrie Anthony Murder

From the RCSO: “During the course of the investigation into the Murder of Arbrie Anthony on January, 8, 2022, Investigators were able to locate the vehicle involved, which was a red in color 2020 Jeep Compass Trail Hawk.

Investigators were able to identify Antoine Redfield (B/M 21 YOA of Augusta) as being involved in the murder and a warrant has been issued for Antoine Redfield. Antoine Redfield is currently in custody at the Columbia County Detention Center on unrelated charges stemming from a traffic stop in Grovetown. A hold has been placed on him for Richmond County.

Further arrests are forthcoming as this investigation continues.  We would not be at this point in the investigation without the help of the public and our local and federal law enforcement partners. Sheriff Roundtree personally thanks the dozens of individuals who called with information surrounding this case.”
