Augusta Coroner IDs Body of Teen Found 14 Years Ago!

The Richmond County Coroner’s Office has confirmed the identity of a person found dead in Augusta on Feb. 6, 2000.

The body of 18-year-old Weshme Louissaint was found at 3309 Commerce Drive. He had been shot at least one time, Coroner Mark Bowen said.

Louissaint was wearing a black corduroy jacket, “FUBU” brand name type jersey, carpenter jeans and “FUBU” tennis shoes. Louissaint was from the West Palm Beach, Florida, area and had traveled to the Augusta area with friends.
