Augusta Coroner Needs Help Identifying Hit & Run Victim

The Richmond County Coroner’s Office needs help in identifying the hit & run victim from Thursday night.

The victim is a white male, 48 – 58 years old, 5-10 to 6-00 ft. tall, 200 lbs. shoulder length dark hair and mustache.

The victim was at Wrightsboro Road and McDaniel Drive when he was struck by an unknown vehicle that left the scene. The pedestrian was then struck by a second vehicle. There is no description of the second vehicle at this time.

The pedestrian was transported to Doctor’s Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. He had no ID on him.
