Augusta Teen Found Shot to Death on Goldfinch Drive; Suspect Sought

An Augusta teen was shot multiple times Saturday night and died on Goldfinch Drive, authorities said.

Jaylyne Cannon, 18, of Dunham Court, was pronounced dead at 10:55 p.m. Saturday on the 3600 block of Goldfinch Drive, according to Coroner Mark Bowen. His body will be sent to the GBI lab for autopsy. Jamario Anderson is wanted in the murder.

A press release from the sheriff’s office says that deputies were dispatched in reference to a shooting and found the victim.
