Another local teenager has been charged with having sex with an underage girl.
In the most recent case, 17-year-old Tyler Aaron Jones made the mistake of videoing his sex act with a 14-year-old girl, according to a sheriff’s report.
And then he allowed investigators to look through his iPhone XR after he was detained for an unrelated crime. Officers found a video recorded by Tyler of a 14-year-old girl performing oral sex on him Aug. 11 at 4:43 a.m., the sheriff’s report says.
In addition, officers looked on the girl’s phone and found video recorded by Tyler of him penetrating her vagina AND her performing oral sex on him on Aug. 17 t 8:10 p.m., the report says.
Tyler is 3 years and 7 months older than the girl. He was charged last Thursday with statutory rape and a violation of the Computer Pornography & Child Exploitation Prevention Act. Jail records show he has already been released.
In an unrelated case, a local teen was arrested Aug. 16 for statutory rape of a 13-year-old girl in Grovetown, according to a sheriff’s report. Gavarein Hall, 19, confessed to having sex with the girl, a report says. (Click here for that story).
