Augusta Woman Throws Boiling Water on Cheating Husband

-

An Augusta woman threw boiling water on her cheating husband Thursday, causing permanent disfigurement on the left side of his body, authorities said.

Shirnice Allen, 56, of Forest Brook Apartments, was charged with aggravated battery in the case.

Allen told authorities that she was mad at her husband Robert Marion for cheating on her.

“Allen stated that Marion had been cheating on her over the years and Allen wanted Marion to hurt as much as she had been hurt,” a sheriff’s report says.

So she threw the boiling hot water on him, which caused the burns across Marion’s left arm, causing possible 2nd or 3rd degree burns with permanent disfigurement of Marion’s left arm from his left shoulder down to his left elbow.

Deputies were called to Apartment 6055 on Damascus Road just after noon Thursday and found the victim with multiple burn wounds. Paramedics had to cut part of Marion’s shirt off because it was burned to Marion’s skin. He was taken to Doctors Hospital while the wife was taken to jail.
