Augusta Woman Tries to Kill Husband – Two Hours Before the New Year!

-

An Augusta woman is accused of repeatedly shooting at her husband shortly before the ball dropped on 2021, according to authorities.

Melissa Cui Domingo, 37, of 3141 Ramsgate Drive, walked into the bedroom around 10 p.m. Friday and shot husband Hajir Talebzadeh several times, according to an arrest warrant. The gunfire struck him in the back of his head.

“The victim sustained multiple facial fractures and lost a large amount of blood,” a warrant says. “The victim was transported to Augusta University Medical Center and admitted and is in critical condition.”

Domingo was booked into the jail on Saturday for aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. She remained there on Sunday without bond.

A motive is not clear.
