The Wells Fargo bank in Martinez was robbed Tuesday morning.
At approximately 11:20 a.m. Tuesday, the subject pictured here entered the Wells Fargo bank located at 3726 Washington Road in Martinez.
“The suspect presented a black semi-automatic pistol and demanded money from the teller,” a CCSO press release says. “He was witnessed wearing a black or blue long-sleeve shirt with an orange reflective vest. He was described as a black male, between 35 and 45 years old, approximately 5’6” tall, and weighs between 140 and 160 pounds.”
Authorities say he fled the bank on foot and ran South through the parking lot. If anyone has information on the pictured subject, please contact the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office immediately at 706-541-2800.
