Bojangles Manager Takes Nearly $2K from Safe on Last Day – Martinez

-

A former manager at the Martinez Bojangles has been arrested for taking home nearly $2,000 in cash from a restaurant safe on her last day, according to a sheriff’s report.

Mylitta Jo Wilson, 40, of Augusta, was charged Feb. 21 for the felony warrant for theft, an outstanding warrant pending for months.

Last fall, Bojangles operations director Danielle Johnson told officers that previous manager Mylitta Wilson took $1994.65 from the safe on Sept. 6, which was her last day of working in the restaurant.

Wilson “never deposited it to the bank” and was unreachable.
