Catch’Em: Thief Rolls Out of Grovetown Walmart with 2 TVs

A would-be thief loaded up two big-screen TVs and calmly rolled them out the front door of the Grovetown Walmart on Sept. 2 without paying, authorities said.

A loss prevention officer went outside and got the man to bring the TVs back inside to show proof that he had paid for the TVs, valued at $750.

But the thief realized he was caught and ran from the store, jumped into a white sedan and fled, according to authorities.

This is a picture of the man in the white T-shirt. Recognize him?

Please help identify him by calling the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office at 706-541-2800. Callers can remain anonymous.
