Couple Caught on Camera Using Stolen Credit Card at Evans Target

-

Who is this man and woman? Columbia County authorities say they used a stolen credit card Saturday at the Target in Evans.

“They arrived together in a white SUV and walked into the store separately,” sheriff’s Maj. Steve Morris said in a press release. “The female purchased several hundred dollars of gift cards and tried to make a second purchase, which was declined.”

The credit card was taken by a pick-pocket earlier at the Publix Supermarket in Evans. A 63-year-old woman said her wallet was taken from inside of her purse, according to a sheriff’s report.

The thieves then charged $850 at Target in Mullins Crossing. The subjects attempted to make another purchase of over $500 at the same location, but this transaction was denied by the victim’s credit card company.

If you recognize the suspects, please call the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office 706-541-2800.
