Family Dollar Employee in Augusta Fails to Make Five Deposits

-

A worker at the Family Dollar store on Kissingbower Road was recently arrested for theft when five store deposits never made it to the bank.

Tiffany Henderson, 32, of Augusta, was charged Nov. 15 with felony theft by taking.

On Nov. 10, the district manager, Cliff Thomasson, met with sheriff’s officials and said the employee “has on five separate occasions been the one to take the deposits for the day from the store to the bank (Wells Fargo) for deposit.” But the deposits were never made in October, a sheriff’s report says.

The district manager said he confronted Henderson about the missing deposits and she said she didn’t know what he was talking about.

Perhaps she knows what he is talking about after her arrest.
