Grovetown Man Charged with Murder in Hazelnut Drive Homicide

Grovetown Public Safety have charged 19-year-old Emonte Foster in last week’s shooting death on Hazelnut Drive.

   Foster was originally wanted for questioning in the Tuesday homicide that took place on the 300 block of Hazelnut Drive in Grovetown, authorities said.

After a four-day investigation, police arrested Foster for allegedly killing Milton Heath. Around 1 a.m. Saturday, Foster was taken into custody and charged with murder and weapon possession.

   Last Tuesday, Public safety officers responded to the 300 block of Hazelnut Drive around 9 a.m. for a possible gunshot victim. Once inside the home, they discovered a victim deceased from gunshot wounds, according to GDPS Lt. Allison Foster.
