A Grovetown man was killed by a train Saturday, authorities said.
The man was identified as 20-year-old Dashaun Solomon.
Authorities say the young man was walking next to the railroad tracks about just east of Katherine Street, authorities said. The train’s conductor spotted Solomon and tried to stop, but the victim was hit and killed.
Some people are already remembering him on Facebook, including this comment from Jonesti Steele “Prayers for my friend Dashaun Solomon and his family. God had better plans for you baby boy. Love you always.”
