Grovetown Police Seek Suspect for Questioning in Homicide

Grovetown Public Safety officers are seeking the public’s help in finding 19-year-old Emonte Foster for questioning in Tuesday’s homicide.

Foster is wanted for questioning only in the homicide that took place on the 300 block of Hazelnut Drive in Grovetown, authorities said.

He may be driving a Black Ford Fusion with chrome stock rims and a chrome grill, police said.

Anyone with information on this case or the whereabouts of Emonte Foster is asked to contact Investigator William Rodman or any Investigator with the Grovetown Police Department (706-863-1212). Callers may remain anonymous.

   Public safety officers responded to the 300 block of Hazelnut Drive around 9 a.m. Tuesday for a possible gunshot victim. Once inside the home, they discovered a victim deceased from gunshot wounds, according to GDPS Lt. Allison Foster.

The name of the victim was being withheld pending notification of kin.
