A 28-year-old man’s illegal sexual relationship with a 15-year-old Martinez girl was discovered only after the teen bragged to classmates at Evans High School about the relationship, according to a sheriff’s report.
Joseph Judge, 28, was charged Thursday with aggravated child molestation.
The girl’s mother was notified by Evans High officials on Oct. 11 about their discovery. Classmates of the girl had heard the 15 year old boast of the relationship with an older man and informed school administrators. The mother notified law enforcement and said she wanted to prosecute.
An investigation led to Judge’s arrest on Thursday. He was being held without bond in the Columbia County Jail.
