A Martinez man is accused of choking his wife and then leaving his 7-month-old baby alone while the victim fled their home.
Marcus Schuler, 26, was found passed out and naked last Friday night (April 3) in a master bedroom at the couple’s home on Pine Ridge Run, according to a sheriff’s report. Deputies also found the couple’s baby girl on the couch crying.
The victim told authorities about their violent evening that erupted after her husband was drinking throughout the evening. The couple were arguing when Mr. Schuler “poured a beer over her head while she was sitting on the couch,” a report says.
