Police: North Augusta Woman Shot Husband in Head

-

Here’s a look at Debra Morris, the North Augusta woman charged Monday with killing husband Stephen Morris with a gunshot wound to the head.

North Augusta authorities were called to the couple’s home on West Woodlawn Avenue just before noon Monday for what they thought was a suicide. But the investigation revealed it was a homicide and Mrs. Morris was eventually booked for murder and weapon possession charges.

Mr. Morris was pronounced dead at the home from a single gunshot wound to the head, authorities said.
