Target Shoplifter: ‘Can I Just Get a Ticket?’

-

A Target shoplifting suspect in Evans who was caught stealing more than $850 in electronics Thursday asked the cop to let him off with a ticket.

“I know I just shoplifted, but could I just get a ticket or something and not have to go to jail?” suspect Henry Campbell reportedly asked the arresting deputy at the Evans Target.

Uh, no.

If anyone deserved jail, it was this suspect. According to the deputy’s report, he came armed with his own magnet to clear security devices on the electronics. Campbell was seen using the magnet on two Beats headphones, a Fitbit and a Garmin fitness watch. He then placed them into a bean bag chair.

One of the suspects placed the stolen item in a bag and the pair left.
