Thanksgiving Day Collision in Hephzibah Leaves Two Drivers Dead

A multi-car collision on Windsor Spring Road near Willis Foreman Road left two people dead on Thanksgiving Day.

The first driver was pronounced dead at the scene at approximately 4:08 p.m. Thursday, Coroner Mark Bowen said. The second driver, who was transported to Wellstar/MGC Health hospital, was pronounced dead at 6:04 p.m. Thursday.

The Richmond County Coroner’s Office responded to the crash, but further details, including the identities of the victims, have not been released. The Coroner’s Office confirmed that the names will be disclosed once the next of kin have been notified.

The cause of the crash is under investigation, and no other details were released.
