This Aiken Man was Killed in Augusta at 3 in the Morning; RCSO Says 2 Teens were Also Shot!

The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division is investigating Tuesday morning’s shooting death of 23-year-old Marquan Patten (AKA: Marquan Doyle) of Aiken, South Carolina.

Patten was located in a vehicle on Service Drive just off Milledge Road and was pronounced dead at 3:36 a.m. Tuesday at the scene.

Further investigation revealed two other subjects were shot during this incident.

Marqwez Warney, 17 yoa, was shot and treated at AUMC with non-life threatening injuries.  The second subject is a 16 year old juvenile who was shot and taken for treatment with non-life threatening injuries.

No arrests have been announced.

“Due to the ongoing criminal investigation, no further information will be released at this time,” the sheriff’s office said.
