The Coroner’s Office is investigating the death of two people shot at the Private Eye Club on Thomas Lane in Augusta.
The shooting took place at 2:12 a.m. Saturday.
Ja Brie Savonjay Dominguez, 23, of Augusta (left photo) was shot at least one time and was pronounced dead on the scene at 3 a.m., Coroner Mark Bowen said.
Charles Edward Lawson lll, 28, of Hephzibah (right photo), was shot at least one time and transported to University Hospital. He was pronounced dead at 2:42 a.m.
Lawson and Dominguez were transported to the GBI Lab for an autopsy, the coroner said.
The sheriff’s office has not released any information on the shootings. Check back here for updates.
