Richmond County authorities have identified 19 trafficking-related suspects following a two-year undercover bust targeting Tyrone Guy’s Drug Trafficking Organization.
Local, state and federal agents executed 17 search warrants at Augusta residences and one in Martinez, seizing a large amount of drugs, weapons, cars and vehicles. This was part of a long probe into drug trafficking by Tyrone Guy’s Drug Trafficking Organization. Tyrone Guy A.K.A. “Pit Stick” and several of his associates were targeted in this investigation.
In a press release, Sheriff Richard Roundtree noted that most of these defendants were carrying or possessing firearms during their drug trafficking activities.
“A large amount of gun-related violence fueled by such organizations have to be eliminated for our communities to find peace and safety,” the sheriff said in the press release.
The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division, the Federal Bureau of Investigations Safe Streets Gang Task Force (FBI), and the Department of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) participated in this two-year undercover investigation. Columbia County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) also provided assistance in the execution of a search warrant in Martinez.
Listed below are the items seized, the locations searched and the suspects identified. Investigators will be seeking federal and state indictments, the sheriff’s office said.

- 7 vehicles.
