Victim Drops $240 Lottery Ticket in Grovetown Walmart. These Guys were Seen Picking It Up.

-

Authorities want to question these two men in the theft of a $240 lottery ticket that was accidentally dropped in the Grovetown Walmart last month.

Security video shows the 39-year-old victim come to the register on June 6 and put the lottery ticket in his pocket. He then dropped the ticket on the floor and did not realize it, according to a sheriff’s report.

While the victim was out getting his wallet, two white males dressed in black shirts and shorts walked up. One was pushing a shopping cart. One of the two males picked up the lottery ticket and then both proceeded off camera.

The victim said said the ticket was worth $280. It was described as a $30 Ultimate Wealth ticket.

If you know the two men pictured, please call the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office at 706-541-2800.
