The Richmond County Coroner’s Office is investigating the death of a pedestrian that was struck by a vehicle on Wednesday (Oct. 7) on the 4100 block of Deans Bridge Road in Augusta.
Tyron Cordy, 21, of Wadley, was crossing the southbound lanes of Deans Bridge Road when he was struck by a southbound vehicle.
Cordy was taken to Augusta University Medical Center by EMS where he died this morning (Oct. 12). He was pronounced dead at 7:09 a.m. Monday.
