Waffle House Killer is Identified by Richmond County Authorities: ‘Armed and Dangerous’

-

The Waffle House murder suspect is on the loose, according to Richmond County authorities.

Andrew Gaines, 31, is wanted in connection with the overnight shooting death outside the Gordon Highway restaurant that took the life of 32-year-old Nicklaus Wilson. It took place just before 2 a.m. Monday.

Gaines was last seen driving a stolen 2018 Kia Sportage with a SC Tag of 1897NL. It is silver.

“Gaines is considered to be Armed and Dangerous,” a RCSO wanted poster says. “Andrew Gaines does have active warrants with this agency at this time.”

Anyone that comes in contact with Gaines or has any information as to his whereabouts is asked to contact Sgt. Chris Langford or any on call Investigator at the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office at 706-821-1083 or 706-821-1020.

Note: If you have a photo of Wilson to share, please text it to 803-487-3224. All we have is a mugshot
