According to media reports, the LOE gang started in the 1980s as “The Shirley Avenue Boys” after the street where they lived near Olive Road.
Younger members later changed it to “LOE” to allow the group to expand past Shirley Avenue and include the Jennings Home housing section, Richmond Villas, and other areas.
The arrests at Primetime comes one month after someone shot at the business. On Nov. 3, Richmond County Deputies responded to Primetime Bar & Grill around 9 p.m. in reference to a shooting. Deputies learned that unknown subject or subjects fired several shots at the business striking the front door, a press release says. The gunman left the scene in a black vehicle. There were no reported injuries at the time.
