A Warrenville man was charged Sunday for allegedly forcing a 4-year-old girl to touch him.
Thomas Layden, 34, was charged with criminal sexual conduct with a minor.
A heavily-redacted sheriff’s report from February says the girl started acting out in school and rubbing her groin. The child’s mother asked her why she was doing that, and the girl said her actions were what “Thomas” does. The child later disclosed that the suspect had taken a shower with her when both were naked.
The girl started rubbing her belly and told an adult that the action was what Thomas has her do to him.
“The juvenile victim then continued by imitating the motion of masturbating a male penis as what she also does to Thomas,” a sheriff’s report says. “The juvenile victim has also been acting out in school lately for unexplained reasons.”
An investigation led to a warrant being issued on Friday and Layden’s arrest on Sunday.
