What Happened on Gem Lakes Subdivision in Aiken?

Gem LakesInvestigators from the Aiken Department of Public Safety are asking for the public’s assistance in determining the nature of, and parties involved in, an incident that occurred at approximately 1:40 p.m. Tuesday on Springwood Drive, in the Gem Lakes Subdivision.

A witness reported that he observed a white four door sedan, driven by a white male approach a female pedestrian as she walked on Springwood Drive. The witness stated that he observed what appeared to be a heated exchange between the male and the female. The vehicle was last seen leaving the incident location with the female inside the vehicle. The driver of the sedan was described as a male in his early to mid- twenties, with blondish-brown dreadlocks, wearing a white shirt. The female was described as early to mid-twenties, with blondish-brown hair, wearing a white shirt.
